My husband and I threw our annual Festivus party this past Saturday (if you don’t know what Festivus is, get thee to the internet and cue up some Seinfeld reruns). It was a great night (with the exception of the Badger football loss, of course), and I think it’s safe to say that everyone had an awesome time, especially when you consider the amount of libations that were flowing. Hello all! How was everyone’s Thanksgiving? Mine was busy and filling and just all-around wonderful. Peter and I spent the holiday with his family, like we usually do. His mother is a fabulous cook, and I look forward to her mashed sweet potatoes (that I only recently learned I liked!), homemade rolls, and to-die-for stuffing all year long. I ate far more than my poor belly could handle and was darn near miserable because of how stuffed I was after dinner, but isn’t that the whole point of Thanksgiving dinner in the first place?
